Grainger Hines made his New York stage debut in "Valentine Day," written and directed by one of America's great writers,
Horton Foote, followed by "Mannerhouse,"
directed by Herbert Berghoff. Other productions in New York included
"Fool For Love," "One Last Ride" and "Dance With Me." On the stage in Los Angeles, Grainger starred with Lynn Redgrave
in the Los Angeles Drama Critics winner, "Thursday's Girls." He also starred in "A Rainbow In The Night" and the world
premier of "One Last Ride" at the Melrose Theatre . At the Lee Strasberg Institute, Grainger starred in "Fool for Love"
and at the Odyssey Theatre, Grainger starred in Freya Films Production of "Hedda Gabler."
Some of Grainger's film work includes "Thicker than Water," "The Exonerated," "Just for the Time Being," "Protocol," "Innerspace," "Rocky II", "Sally", "Strong Island Boys", "When", "Abuse Of Power", "Two Of Hearts," "Amber Waves," "The Secretary," "Discretion Assured", "The Three Deaths Of Joaquim Bolivar," " The Yellow Bird," "Soldier's Fortune," "Street Knight," the ABC award winning mini-series,"War and Remembrance" and also "Alamo: Thirteen Days to Glory." Grainger wrote, produced and starred in the western drama "The Outsider." In 2007 Grainger directed the feature film "The Mill." Grainger has appeared in over one hundred episodic television shows; &nsbp; some recent appearances include "Ghost Whisperer," "Las Vegas," "Saving Grace," "Cold Case," and "CSI Miami." Grainger has two sons, Gray and Austin Hines. Gray is a musician and lives in South Carolina. Austin lives in Los Angeles and is in college and starting his acting career. Austin's mother is actress Michelle Phillips. |
